GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas – (Oct. 27, 2010) – It’s a Believe It or Not! World Series – a Texas team that has never been to the fall classic facing a Giants club that has not won the title in 56 years.
In celebration of this one-of-a-kind series, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! (which has Odditoriums in both cities) is offering a full lineup of bargains for baseball fans.
Rangers fans can score a number of fan-friendly and family-friendly deals for the duration of the world series at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Grand Prairie Odditorium.
- Anyone who shows up at the Odditorium in a Rangers cap, jersey or t-shirt gets $3 off any combo ticket.
- Visitors who buy a 4-way combo ticket can also get the famous “Rangers Claw” in wax at Ripley’s Wax Hands station for only $5
- For fans travelling to away games during the series, a full price admission ticket from the Ripley’s Odditorium in either city is good for unlimited access to Ripley’s attractions in BOTH cities for the duration of the series.
The managers at the two Ripley’s Odditoriums have also made a good natured bets on the series, where kids win regardless of which team wins.
If San Francisco wins the series, Drew Morales, GM of the Grand Prairie Believe It or Not! will host 100 kids from a charity named by Ian Iljas, GM of the San Francisco Believe It or Not!
If the Rangers win, Morales gets to pick the charity from which 100 kids will be chosen to party at the San Francisco Believe It or Not! It’s a win-win for kids on this one! The kids will get free admission to all the Ripley’s attractions in either city.
