Karen Fischer named the Orlando tutoring franchise’s business development director

ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 12, 2010) – Club Z! In-Home Tutoring Services of Central Florida has named Karen Fischer as its business development director.

Fischer—who joins the Orlando-area tutoring service franchise this month—has spent more than a decade as an educator and entrepreneur. She founded the Royal Tiger Art Academy in Breckenridge, Colo., an institute dedicated to the development of human intellect through visual art exploration and creation for students between 5 and 15. In addition, Fischer has taught art and art history at various colleges and schools throughout the nation, including Colorado Mountain College, Ferndale Middle School in High Point, N.C., and Aloma Elementary School in Winter Park, Fla.

Along with being a Lake Highland Preparatory School graduate (1987), Fischer received her bachelor’s in education from High Point College in North Carolina and her master’s in Art History from Savannah College of Art and Design. Fischer recently relocated to her hometown of Winter Park, where she lives with her husband Jeremy K. Fischer and three children.

Ken Goldstein named vice president of sales at the Orlando-based education management software leader
